Acupuncture is effective for: How does acupuncture help with eye conditions? Acupuncture can promote circulation around the optic nerve, helping to remove vascular blockages and enhance the permeability of the blood vessels surrounding the optic nerve. This, in turn, contributes to stimulating the regeneration and repair functions of optic nerve cells. Note: Only May Huang R.Ac treats eye conditions at our clinic. FAQ
Yes, acupuncture is a treatment method that is covered under physiotherapy. The answer is usually yes. Acupuncture is excellent for any type of pain conditions that involves muscles, bone and nerves. Acupuncture is amazing in its ability to produce anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and regenerative effects. Please refer to the conditions that we commonly treat list at the top of the home page. Acupuncture is cumulative and each treatment builds on the next. Typically, a series of 6-12 sessions is considered a "course of treatment". We recommend 2x/week for the first 2-3 weeks, then 1x/week for 2-3 weeks, then 1x/every two weeks for 1 month. Improvement in symptoms can be seen after a few treatments, but additional treatments will create a more lasting effect.
Still have questions? You can email Amy at amychenpt@gmail.com and request a phone consultation. In the email, kindly state your condition and your availability for a phone consultation. Amy will call you within 1-2 business days.
